Integrated Healthcare Management – Right Care. Right Time.
Integrated Healthcare Management (IHM) is an innovative method of directing care designed to achieve optimum patient outcomes by improving customer education, provider coordination, and access to services. At its core, IHM is simply a way of helping to ensure that patients receive the right care at the right time, and that they leave the health care system feeling better about their overall experience. IHM results in improved patient satisfaction and quality of life.
Wellness Program
MSHWP members have access to a comprehensive wellness program that promotes healthy living. This program includes sophisticated electronic tools, including online health assessments, giving members the opportunity to assess their health behaviors and risks, and design activities to improve their health. Members also are offered a comprehensive biometric (blood) screening.
Incorporated into the MSHWP benefit designs are preventive services to enable members to maintain a proactive healthcare agenda. Along with routine medical services, the members have access to a free, 24/7 Nurse Line that can save members both time and money.
MommyTrax
Expectant mothers have free access to a host of services designed to help moms
have safe and healthy pregnancies and babies. Free services include a Maternity
Health Assessment, free prenatal vitamins, ongoing access to Registered Nurses
for support, coordination with physicians, follow-up screening, and even a $150 cash
award for enrolling during the first trimester.
Annual Vision Exam
MSHWP plan members each receive an annual eye exam through a VSP provider with no co-pay. Employees can also select a more comprehensive vision plan, through payroll deduction.
Voluntary Dental
Partnered with MSHWP, Delta Dental, the country’s largest dental insurance carrier, makes dental coverage available to our schools with very low participation requirements.
Voluntary Benefits
Voluntary benefits are offered through Insurance Coordinators of Montana, Inc. (ICMI), a subsidiary of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana, and include group and voluntary disability insurance protection; affordable Voluntary Group Life and AD & D; cancer and accident policies; and affordable, integrated Flex Plans.
Easy Access to National and Worldwide Provider Network
Through the exclusive BlueCard program, employees and their dependents have access to providers across the nation and around the world. No matter where they are, members will be able to find the health care provider they need. Through BlueCard, the BCBSMT network is the largest in the world.
Flex Plans (aka Cafeteria Plan, Section 125 Plans, Flexible Benefit Plans)
Flex Plans increase employee take home pay and may allow significant tax savings for both the employer and employee. Flex plans give employees the opportunity to design their benefits package to meet their particular needs, whether it is for out-of-pocket medical expenses and/or dependent daycare assistance. All plans include employer and employee tax-savings on premium dollars.
